Afternoon Tea at the Coral bar in the Hotel Ambre

The 4-star Hotel Ambre welcomes you to the magical east coast of Mauritius and a contemporary and colourful invitation to relax by the waters of the Indian Ocean.

Located in the heart of an idyllic bay the Hotel Ambre is a new Mauritian resort that still exudes all the charm and character unique to Mauritius.

The hotel is famed for its cool, comfortable rooms and a variety of welcoming leisure facilities, including a dream pool and essential Spa, gourmet restaurants and cosy bars. A visit to this Mauritian paradise promises to be truly unforgettable.

Throughout the day, the bars at Hotel Ambre offer refreshments, snacks and cocktails and delicious alcohol-free freshly squeezed juices. In the afternoon, however, you are also invited to take Afternoon Tea or coffee under the cool thatched roof of the Coral Bar, as the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean wash gently against the beach nearby.

Afternoon Tea is served everyday between the hours 1500 – 1700hrs serving a full range of aromatic teas including Darjeeling and Earl Grey, not to mention fruit and herbal teas such as vanilla, lemon, camomile and peppermint tea. Fresh American coffee is also served with fruit juice for that little boost.

Of course, Afternoon Tea would not be complete without an assortment of cakes, cookies, tarts and other sweets to compliment the service. These sensational treats are crafted each day by Chef Prem, our resident culinary genius.
