Discover magnificent fruits and vegetables sculptures at Ambre !

4 mars 2013

Upon a dinner in Mauritian hotel Ambre, come discover the surprising sculptures made of fruits and vegetables created by assistant-Chef Vikash Deelah.

Odd flowers in the restaurant

During one of your dinners at restaurant Indigo, main restaurant of hotel Ambre, you will certainly have the opportunity to get to know the young assistant-Chef Vikash Deelah. Do ask him to tell you about his “creations”. Indeed, during his 17 years spent in the restaurants of group Sun Resorts, assistant-Chef Deelah has found a passion for himself. It started when an Indonesian woman taught him how to carve fruits and vegetables ; his works are now exposed for dinnertime in your restaurant Indigo. The young Vikash Deelah can even brag about winning several culinary contests and roaming across the world for culinary festivals, which brought him to Australia, Hong-Kong, Malaysia or even Italia.

Delight for the eyes and your papilla

After a lively day at the pool, the beach or after having enjoyed the many premises put at your disposal, you will be pleased to savour a tasty dinner while admiring the various sculptures of the young assistant-Chef Vikash Deelah. These odd and surprising flowers and animals will delight both the young and the old. It also is a way to perfect Mauritian fine dining just as the various Creole, Indian or Chinese specialities that are offered on the shimmering buffets. Like so, after your stay in Mauritian 4 star resort Ambre you will certainly look at your carrots, mangoes and beetroots with a different eye !
